Alzheimer's Support

A Dementia Adviser will visit at home to offer tailored advice and information and help people access the services they need at different times. Tel: 01225 776481


Alzheimer’s Support also provides Support at Home (two or three hour visits for companionship and support)


There is also a Carers Group (Bradford-on-Avon and Trowbridge) that meets monthly for a pub lunch.

Side by Side: a service available in Wiltshire that helps people with dementia to keep doing the things they love. The service helps people get out and about with the support of a volunteer doing an activity of their choice. This might be anything from joining a local club, to going to the football, a cafe or simply a stroll in the park. Contact: Diane Jenkins, Tel: 01722 326 236


National Dementia Helpline – 0300 222 1122: for information, support and advice, Monday – Wednesday from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm,  Thursday – Friday 08:00 –  5:00 pm,  Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm


Talking Point – a helpful online community where anyone who is affected by dementia can receive valuable support. It’s free, open day or night, and can be accessed online.
